Today there was an email that went out to all of WPS regarding the October 9th in-service day. As paraprofessionals typically do not work on in-service days, unless invited within a certain time period, clarification was sought on this matter.
October 9 remains an unpaid day for Unit C. It was noted that individuals could attend for professional development; however, it would not have a financial incentive. The email sent was not intended to serve as an invitation/directive to attend.
