A vote to ratify a tentative Unit A contract between the Wareham Education Association and the Wareham School Committee is scheduled for Friday, September 5 with an information session on the tentative agreement taking place at 3:15 in the WHS Auditorium on Thursday, September 4.

Voting will take place only on Friday, Sept. 5. Voting will occur for twenty minutes before the contractual day begins, and after the contractual day concludes, until 3:30pm.
Voters will sign in before receiving a ballot.

Voting will be conducted in each building by the following members of the bargaining team:

Decas and East: Michelle Montrond (at Decas) Minot: Heidi Simms WHS: Sean Brown WMS: Nancy Hanson

Ballots will be counted starting at 3:45 at the WMS library on September 5.

In accordance with WEA bylaws, the following information is provided:

• The Collective Bargaining Agreement, if ratified, will require payment of a service fee as a condition of employment.
• The service fee is currently equal to dues amounts.
• All employees of the Unit A Bargaining Unit may attend the informational meeting and are eligible to vote on Friday.
• Wareham Education Association Unit A, affiliate of the MTA and NEA, is the Bargaining Unit
